Jason D. was recognized for his 15 years of service as a Starpoint employee today. He was all smiles and grins as he was presented with his 15-year pin and certificate before heading down the hall to work. The Starpoint Board of Directors has approved two new board members to serve on the Starpoint Foundation. Joyce Bauer, ATMOS and a relative of a Starpoint consumer and Michael Butts, a local realtor. Joyce moved to Fremont County in 2006. Married to Daniel; they have 6 children and 3 grandchildren. Paul Brandt was recognized by Salida Police Chief Terry Clark during a recent Salida City Council meeting for his work with Chaffee County Crime Stoppers. Clark said that thanks to Brandt, local police were able to identify a suspect during an investigation of a stolen vehicle. Photo of Brandt accepting the award was not available.
