Seventy-three SPIN kids from the Starpoint SPIN Elm and North Diamond (Spin North) facilities graduated from preschool on Thursday evening at Washington Elementary School Auditorium. Students from each of the classrooms performed for their families, along with their teachers, before being presented their preschool diplomas. Misty Hinkle, SPIN Elm Director, read a poem called “A Preschool Good-bye” at the beginning of the ceremony.

The Rotary Student of the Month for May is Canon City High School senior Danielle Trujillo, daughter of Paul and Diane Trujillo. Danielle’s school activities include being involved with the Dance Team and National Honor Society. She is involved with the Starpoint Foundation as an active volunteer at SPIN Preschool and serves as a Junior Board Member.
