Robert W. Arnold recently became the new CEO of Starpoint, taking over for Starpoint founder and former CEO Roger G. Jensen, who retired after 36 years with the organization.
Arnold previously has served as chief executive for two organizations. He was executive director at Boulder County Enterprises from 1980 to 1989. Starting as a floor supervisor, he became executive director after 6 years with the company.
He was president of Carmel Community Living Corp. from 2007-2011. According to a press release, his responsibilities included financial management, strategic direction, labor relations and human resource management, quality control and compliance, governmental relations and lobbying and sustained operation of services to 600 individuals with developmental disabilities.
For nearly 20 years Arnold was associate executive director of Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, where his responsibilities included coordinating contract services with more than 50 service agencies, serving as the leader of the organizationâ€™s strategic planning, lobbying the state legislature and directing the agencyâ€™s federal lobbying and monitoring rules and regulations.
