services to children with developmental delays or disabilities
Colorado’s Early Intervention program provides support and services to children with developmental delays or disabilities from birth until the age of three. These services include family support.
Early Intervention Colorado can help families learn ways to support and promote their child’s development within their everyday routines and activities.
Starpoint provides these services in Fremont, Chaffee, and Custer Counties.
Your child will have an evaluation through Project Echo to determine if they are eligible for Early Intervention. Then, a meeting will take place with you to create an Individualized Family Service Plan to get to know your child’s strengths and needs and set goals to work towards.
If you have questions or would like to request a referral, call 719-369-0255 or email email@example.com.
for eligible children ages birth to three
Early Head Start Section
Starpoint provides Early Head Start services for eligible children ages birth to three. Early Head Start is a Federal program that promotes the school readiness of children from birth to age five from low-income families by enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional development. Head Start programs provide a learning environment that supports children’s growth in many areas such as language, literacy, and social and emotional development. Head Start emphasizes the role of parents as their child’s first and most important teacher. These programs help build relationships with families that support family well-being and many other important areas.
Starpoint’s Early Head Start program provides both center-based services and home visitation programming to empower parents as their child’s first teacher.
