Adult Day Program folks, Autumn Weikal, April Lundahl, Patty Donaldson and Karen Yelton braved cold temperatures on a recent Sunday and decorated Starpoint’s entry in the Canon City Chamber’s annual Christmas tree contest. The tree was sponsored by Sons of Italy and is on display on Main Street in front of New Method Laundry. Thanks ladies and it looks great in the day and also at night when lit. Great job!

Rim to Rim Race Committee is working with the Ainsley’s Angels Colorado Ambassadors (www.ainsleysangels.org) and Team Kid Courage (www.teamkidcourage.org) to provide riders and runners to the rim to Rim 10k/5k Races (www.rimtorimroyalgorge.com) on October 3 at the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park.

Bradley is in our Chaffee County Children’s Extensive Supports (CES) program which purchased this bike as Therapeutic Equipment. Juanita, his mother, never thought he would be able to have the coordination to ride a bike; he rode it AROUND the puddles the first time and THROUGH all the puddles the second time.
