Rim to Rim Race Committee is working with the Ainsley’s Angels Colorado Ambassadors (www.ainsleysangels.org) and Team Kid Courage (www.teamkidcourage.org) to provide riders and runners to the rim to Rim 10k/5k Races (www.rimtorimroyalgorge.com) on October 3 at the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park.
Proceeds from current fundraisers are used in part to purchase games, educational materials, supplies and motivational and skill materials (above for) Adult Day, Life Skills Center and Life Enrichment Center programs
Starpoint Foundation Board members, staff and crew lined up and awaiting for the beginning of their Benefit Breakfast at Michael’s on Main recently. The annual event grossed more than $1500 in ticket sales, tips and donations from the 133 hungry attendees which provided a pleasant pace and leisurely flow of patrons during the 2 hour event. Bradley is in our Chaffee County Children’s Extensive Supports (CES) program which purchased this bike as Therapeutic Equipment. Juanita, his mother, never thought he would be able to have the coordination to ride a bike; he rode it AROUND the puddles the first time and THROUGH all the puddles the second time. Way to go Bradley!
